Salt Room FAQ
Some Questions you may have
What is Halotherapy?
A. Halotherapy, also known as salt therapy, is a natural and non-invasive therapy that involves inhaling microscopic salt particles. It is inspired by the healing properities of salt caves and is used to support respiitory health, improves skiin conditions, promote relaxation, and enhance overall wellness.
How does Halotherapy work?
A. During a session, you will enter a specially designed salt room where the air is infused with pharmaceutical-grade salt particles. As you relax and breath in the salt infused air, the tiny particles travel deep into your respiratory system. This helps to cleanse the airways, reduce inflammation, and promote better breathing.
Is Halotherapy safe?
A. YES, halotherapy is considered safe for most people. Halotherapy is generally safe for pregnant women but please consult with your healthcare provider before starting halotherapy sessions.
How often should I attend Halotherapy sessions?
A . One session lasts approximately 45 minutes and the frequency depends on the individual. One to two sessions per week may be recommended.
Can my children enter the salt room?
A. No. Only adults over the age of 18 are permitted in the salt room at Head Up A New Direction In Healing LLC.
How soon can I expect to see results from Halotherapy?
A. The timing of results may vary depending on individual factors and the specific condition being addressed. Some individuals may experience immediate benefits such as improved breathing or a sense of relaxation after a single session. However, for long term and more significant results, regular and consistent Halotherapy sessions are generally recommended.
